Fun (facts) and Quotes

What's your favourite quote?

It's like picking your favourite child, which I am not going to do. Instead, I'll share a few quotes that resonate with me:

"This world is made of people no smarter than you."
"Still water runs deep."
"Be the change you want to see in the world."

Each of these quotes carries its own wisdom and inspiration, reminding us of our potential and the power we hold to make a difference.

What's your favourite emoji?

With a vast selection of over 3,000 emojis encompassing emotions, objects, animals, and beyond, it's no wonder they've become a staple of digital communication. Among the commonly used emojis such as 😊 (Smiling Face with Smiling Eyes), ❤️ (Red Heart), 🙌 (Raising Hands), 🎉 (Party Popper), and 🍕 (Pizza), my personal preference leans towards the 💛 (yellow heart) . To me, it symbolizes the inherent kindness and the heart of gold that I believe exists within each individual.

If you could have a giant billboard anywhere with anything on it, what would it say and why?

If I were to put up a giant billboard anywhere, I would proudly display the message "You are enough". It serves as a powerful reminder to everyone that their worth and value come from within, not from external measures. Emphasizing the importance of character and self-acceptance, this message seeks to uplift and empower individuals to embrace their inherent enoughness.

What's your secret obsession?

Ah, guilty pleasures, the sweet indulgences that make life a little more delightful and our wallets a little lighter. In my case, I have a not-so-secret addiction to collecting online courses. It's like a never-ending quest for knowledge, except my bank account used to sob uncontrollably. Thankfully, the rise of streaming services has saved me from bankruptcy and allowed me to indulge in a buffet of learning without breaking the bank. So, I'm a recovering course collector, learning to find balance between expanding my mind and keeping my wallet from staging a revolt.

Which apps consume the majority of your phone usage?

If you add up all the time I spend on Spotify, Audible, and Kobo, I'm pretty sure it's 24 hours.

What is a budget-friendly purchase that has greatly enriched your life and brought significant value?

The winner goes to ... indoor plants! The green companions that bring joy, oxygen, and a touch of jungle-like adventure to any room! They're like tiny leafy superheroes, swooping in with their affordable prices and transforming dull spaces into lively botanical wonderlands. Plus, they're excellent listeners, so you can talk to them about your day without judgment. It's a win-win situation, really!
